Classes / building under supervision
Macboat offers the opportunity to build a wooden boat under supervision. Please contact us for the possibilities.

We also organize in cooperation with the Bootbouwschool (www.bootbouwschool.nl), an 8-day class ‘wood strip canoe building’.

After the class you will leave with your own canoe. This is what you can accomplish: the hull is stapled and sanded. The in- and outside are laminated with glass fiber cloth and epoxy. The gunnel is finished and the decks and bows are placed. At home the boat should cure for 14 days and then sanded and varnished. To complete the boat the seats and thwart are attached.
