Our
boats have to meet high standards in terms of building
process and finishing. The wood is carefully selected for
color and a lot of time is devoted to the details.
This canoe, the
Prospector, designed by Ted Moores and Steve
Killing, has been built by Macboat out of Red
Cedar wood, with a finish of Nut and Ash woods.

wood strips are glued and held together into
clamps during construction. This means there are
no visible staple holes, one of the
distinguishing features of Macboats.
